Ignė Mikalauskaitė

After graduation, I founded my freelance company, Studio Igne. Although still in the early stages, I have successfully completed several small projects, allowing me to apply my design skills in real-world scenarios.

As a Product Design Intern at PUIK, I collaborated with the design team on various projects, including working with notable clients like Hertog Jan and KNVB. My responsibilities included brainstorming, creating visuals and technical drawings, and overseeing production while communicating with suppliers.

In my role as a Social Media Representative for Hanze University, I focused on engaging future Lithuanian students through social media platforms. This experience enhanced my social media marketing skills and taught me the importance of community support.

During Product Design studies I have gained hands-on experience in working with wood, metal, plastics, clay and other materials, as well as deepened my knowledge in design principles and construction of various objects.

Before coming to study Design in Netherlands, I did a one-year-long Design course in Vilnius, Lithuania. The classes and assignments I had were the main reason I chose to follow a path of a Product Designer.
