Hassan Abdelgader
@hassanabdelgader
I am a biomedical engineer specializing in medical devices, image processing, and nano-bubble cancer research.
What I'm looking for
I am a biomedical engineer and MSc candidate with hands-on experience in medical device operation, maintenance, and research. I have worked as a biomedical engineer in a clinical setting and currently serve as a research assistant, developing nano-bubble therapies, fiber-optic sensors, and MATLAB-based medical image processing tools.
My work blends clinical device troubleshooting, numerical and stochastic methods, and experimental sensor development to solve biomedical problems. I have designed a noninvasive dehydration sensor, developed MATLAB code for breast-lesion detection in ultrasound, and am investigating nano-bubble motion and oxygen delivery to tumors.
Experience
Work history, roles, and key accomplishments
Research Assistant
Qatar University
May 2024 - Present (1 year 3 months)
Conducting experimental research on oxygen nano-bubbles and developing fiber optic sensors with MATLAB signal-processing workflows to track nanoparticle motion and detect low-concentration formic acid (<100 ppm).
Biomedical Engineer
Sudan Heart Center
Jan 2020 - Jan 2021 (1 year)
