Haoran Peng

I’m an Advanced Gastroenterologist with training in Gastroenterology & Hepatology and extensive endoscopy experience. I deliver high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with a strong patient-safety mindset.

In recent roles as an Advanced Gastroenterologist and GI locum, I’ve strengthened my procedural practice across complex GI cases. My endoscopy skill set includes EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, endoscopic stent placement, PEG, capsule/PH, and manometry—supported by hands-on hemostasis and endoscopic intervention experience.

My foundation also reflects deep academic rigor: I completed a Fellowship in Gastroenterology & Hepatology (Augusta University) and earlier research work, including studying ceRNA networks (INTS6P1/INTS6/miR-17-5p) in hepatocellular carcinoma and microRNA-containing extracellular vesicles from human bile for cholangiocarcinoma diagnosis. I’ve published clinical and translational work, including BMJ Case Reports and Gastrointest Endosc.

I’m motivated by measurable impact, reflected in honors like an “ACG Presidential award 2022” and recognition including “Most Valuable Resident” (2020) and multiple quality improvement achievements. I bring a clinician-researcher approach—combining outcomes focus, endoscopy expertise, and critical evidence review to improve care.
