I’m a Finance Manager with an MBA and a BA in Accounting, and I’ve built my career around disciplined financial management for donor-funded programs. I’m used to translating annual budgets into day-to-day execution with strong documentation and clear reporting.

In my current roles at Medicines Sans Frontiers (MSF) and previously with International Medical Corps (IMC), Ayuda en Accion Ethiopia, Child Fund Ethiopia, and Family Guidance Association of Ethiopia, I’ve prepared annual budgets and cash flow, supported monthly/quarterly planning, and ensured timely recording of transactions in SAP and other accounting systems.

I lead grant financial management and reporting, including budget vs. actual follow-up, reconciliation of GL and bank accounts, and pre-audit document review based on donor and internal policies. I also handle compliance work such as VAT reporting and monthly settlement of taxes (income tax, pension, withholding tax), while reinforcing internal control procedures.

Beyond close-out and reporting, I coach finance documentation for consortium partners, train newly recruited staff on finance policy, and support procurement and administration processes—covering bid analysis, purchase agreements, petty cash, inventory/fixed assets, and fleet-related monitoring. I value accuracy, accountability, and partner support that improves program outcomes.
