Gideon Eli Abbo

I’m a Civil Engineering graduate with practical exposure to construction practices, site supervision, and humanitarian coordination, including quantity surveying support and volunteer management. I built my foundation through academic training in India and hands-on experience working with teams on real projects.

As a Volunteer Coordinator (Humanitarian), I coordinate recruitment, orientation, and training of volunteers while maintaining accurate records for planning and reporting. I lead orientation sessions to align volunteers with organizational objectives, and I work to promote an inclusive and supportive working environment.

During my internship as an Intern Engineer, I supported daily construction supervision and helped with quantity take-offs and progress reporting. I also participated in quality inspections for reinforcement, formwork, and concrete, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on schedules and documentation.

I bring job-related knowledge of construction practices, safety standards, drawing interpretation, and basic quantity estimation, with digital competence in AutoCAD (Basic) and Autodesk Revit Architecture (Intermediate) from professional BIM training. I’m motivated to advance both technical and managerial skills through graduate study and professional development.
