Gertrude Asante

I am a registered Community/Public health nurse and a certified paediatric first aider, with Basic Life Support (BLS) and training in Nursing and Patient Care. I organize child welfare clinics and provide school health services, including health talks, while maintaining a strong therapeutic communication approach and working effectively as a team mate.

My experience spans community and hospital settings, where I carried out day-to-day duties accurately and supported a wide range of services. I have organized outreach and mobile clinics, provided first aid services, assisted in labour cases, delivered family planning services, counseled parents of children under 5 years, and conducted home visits to aged people, adolescents, children under 5 years, pregnant women, and vulnerable individuals; I also volunteered for National Immunization Activities, assisting in vaccine administration, tallying, and report writing.
