Georgios Papadimitropoulos

Advised the General Secretary overseeing 4 Managing Authorities and 5 Operational Programmes under the 2021–2027 Partnership Agreement, with a combined €14.5B envelope across ERDF, ESF+ and Cohesion Fund. Lead policy drafting and reviewed Operational Programme amendments for compliance with Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 and fund-specific rules.

Serves as an alternate member of the Board of Directors for a major public hospital, appointed by ministerial decision. Reviews board materials, financial reports and governance documents, contributing to decisions on operational, procurement and strategic matters.

Advise public-sector research bodies and private clients on EU-funded project design, regulatory compliance and policy analysis. Delivered written policy and stakeholder deliverables for an Interreg Europe project focused on regional innovation policy.

Worked directly with the President of Greece’s central technical assistance body for EU Structural and Investment Funds. Drafted briefings, speeches and correspondence on ESIF implementation and capacity-building, and reviewed regulatory documents and procedures for EU and national legal consistency.

Advised the Deputy Minister on the Rural Development Programme and the CAP Strategic Plan 2023–2027 under Regulation (EU) 2021/2115. Drafted ministerial briefings, speeches and parliamentary responses, and coordinated with DG AGRI and national stakeholders during CAP negotiation and approval.

Supported engagements for a major Greek systemic bank on regulatory compliance, operational restructuring and process transformation. Produced client deliverables including policy frameworks, procedures, gap analyses and regulatory mapping, translating regulatory and operational data into actionable recommendations.

Completed an MSc in Financial Management at Vlerick Business School in 2019–2020.

Completed a BSc in Banking and Financial Management at the University of Piraeus in 2014–2018.
