George Parlavantazas

I've supported renewable-energy research at FH Aachen, analyzing electric hydronic heating systems and sustainable water-conservation solutions. I processed more than 15 million time-series data entries to evaluate system operation, consumption, peak loads, and relationships between energy demand, water use, and outdoor temperatures.

For my RWTH Aachen bachelor thesis, I designed and simulated an emission-free energy system for school buildings using photovoltaic generation, battery storage, grid connection, and electrical loads. I compared system configurations to improve self-consumption, energy autonomy, operating costs, and CO2 emissions.

I use Python, MATLAB, C, C++, TOP-Energy, statistical analysis, and spreadsheet-based evaluation to turn large energy datasets into technically and economically viable recommendations.
