Garrett Hurley

I supported Covenant Financial Group’s financial advisors with investment research, portfolio analysis, and client recommendations. I built an interactive Excel scorecard to standardize quantitative evaluations of asset managers and improve due diligence.

I analyzed mutual funds, ETFs, and annuities by looking at historical returns, expenses, risk characteristics, and investment strategy. I used Bloomberg Terminal and advanced Excel to organize and present investment data for portfolio recommendations.

Outside finance, I led daily operations at Hungry Howie’s while supervising and developing 10+ employees, managing scheduling, inventory, labor costs, and operational performance. I also maintained confidential Excel databases and coordinated logistics during a community outreach internship at Woodside Bible Church.

For projects, I built diversified portfolios using Modern Portfolio Theory and risk-adjusted performance metrics, and I ran DCF and comparable company valuations using financial statement analysis. I’ve also developed integrated Excel models with forecasting, sensitivity analysis, dashboards, and scenario analysis.
