Prepares and assists with site development plans, gross floor diagrams, and floor area deduction layouts. Drafts life safety plans, architectural floor plans, sections, elevations, door and window schedules, reflected ceiling plans, and other required drawings for DOB filing sets in coordination with the project manager and other architectural drafters.

Prepares architectural drawing sets of residential buildings for building permit purposes. Drafts as-built plans for business permits.

Collaborates with the engineer to discuss design requirements for new construction, renovations, alterations, or additions of residential projects based in the US. Uses Sketchup software to translate sketches, markups, and verbal instructions into drawings and create 3D models and concept renders for visualization projects.

Prepares preliminary designs and detailed drawings for client presentation using computer-aided design software. Prepares construction drawings for building and occupancy permits and collaborates with the contractor and allied professionals to ensure quality of work.

Prepares construction drawings and other requirements for building and occupancy permit applications. Processes permit applications from local authorities and allied professionals, conducts daily site inspections, coordinates with subcontractors and material suppliers, and reports to the principal architect regarding project updates.

Designs and develops construction and detailed drawings under the direction of the principal architect.
