Ezgi Kaplan
@ezgikaplan
I restore and reuse buildings and materials through hands-on ecological architecture, carpentry, and design.
What I'm looking for
I've worked on restoration sites including Sirkeci Railway Station, a traditional house in Bergama, and a 1860s wooden hut in Bruvoll, Norway. At Caravanserai Summer School, I contributed to ecological restoration work focused on rural architecture and circular use of natural materials.
At Ida Wood, I worked in a carpentry workshop producing custom furniture and designed and modeled a wooden outdoor bar for Ayazma Garden, later constructed with the team. I've also supported ecological architecture projects at Atölyezea and interior architecture work at Net Architects.
I'm drawn to architectural reuse, material reuse, natural materials, and small-scale projects where I can develop ideas on paper and help make them physical. I enjoy learning by doing and want to grow within architecture and design alongside good people in a fair, honest working environment.
