Emma Ibarra
@emmaibarra
Cybersecurity graduate who analyzed malware samples with Ghidra and IDA and documented indicators of compromise.
What I'm looking for
My malware analysis project involved examining samples with Ghidra, IDA, VirusTotal, and strings to identify suspicious behaviors and potential indicators of compromise.
In a network forensics investigation, I analyzed Wireshark traffic in a simulated incident involving credential theft, phishing, and data exfiltration. I documented the findings in a forensic investigation report.
I also conducted passive reconnaissance using OSINT techniques to identify publicly exposed infrastructure and domain information, then developed recommendations based on the findings. I’m seeking an entry-level technology role where I can apply technical problem-solving, analytical, and research skills.
