What I'm looking for

I’m looking to join a firm or institution where I can deliver ethical, client-focused advocacy—handling complex litigation end-to-end, strengthening legal research and drafting, and representing clients confidently in court and in dispute resolution.

I’m a dedicated, results-driven legal practitioner focused on ethical, strategic, client-centered outcomes. My practice combines criminal prosecution, civil litigation, legal research, dispute resolution, and courtroom advocacy, with a strong emphasis on sound legal drafting and analysis.

As a State Counsel with the Department of Public Prosecutions, Rivers State Ministry of Justice, I’ve developed prosecution strategies through thorough legal research and judicial precedent analysis. I draft charges, briefs, motions, and written addresses, and I litigate criminal matters from arraignment through trial—conducting witness interviews and managing examination-in-chief and cross-examination while collaborating closely with investigating officers and law enforcement agencies.

Before this, as a Junior Associate at E.O. Oghenejakpor & Co., I supported civil litigation from preparation to trial by drafting demand letters, pleadings, affidavits, legal opinions, and commercial and property agreements. I also advocate for clients in mediation, maintain client-lawyer confidentiality, and have mentored law school externs through supervision and guidance, including a research publication on women’s inheritance rights under Nigerian customary laws.
