What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a lab-focused role where I can drive reliable microbiology diagnostics and research—working with culture, susceptibility testing, and analytical methods like ELISA/HPLC—while collaborating on publications that improve antimicrobial resistance outcomes.

I’m a microbiology-focused research assistant with hands-on experience in both clinical diagnostics and laboratory research. I’ve supported routine diagnostic testing by performing phlebotomy and collecting clinical samples (stool, urine, swab, exudate, pus), preparing media, running culture and sensitivity work, and presenting results.

At the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, I contributed to veterinary microbiology and veterinary public health research, including routine culturing, identification, and antibiotic susceptibility testing. I’ve also worked on toxin-producing fungi detection in animal feed and food materials, analyzed antibiotic residues using ELISA and/or HPLC, and supported molecular epidemiology studies on genetic diversity, antimicrobial resistance, and virulence—backed by peer-reviewed publications.
