Dorothea Vanau

I've created and produced primetime television, public-interest campaigns, and media strategies for Romanian National Television, where I currently lead the România face bine live caravan show and the Ora Unirii Romanian National Day campaign.

My work has delivered tangible public outcomes: a 22% increase in Romanian incoming tourism, successful advocacy for SMURD, and fundraising campaigns that raised up to $400k for children’s learning resources and over $300k plus 10 tonnes of goods for flood victims.

Across PROTV, Intact Media Group, iRewind, the World Bank Knowledge Economy Project, the Ministry of Tourism, and my own Hambar 18 Media Lab, I’ve built brands, developed concepts, produced television, and led strategic communications for national and international initiatives.

I also facilitate conversations as a moderator, keynote speaker, trainer, and journalist. I’ve organized six media trips to Palestine and Israel for more than 120 journalists, KOLs, and influencers, helping generate unprecedented coverage of the conflict.
