Dimitri Abou Assaly

At the Institute of Human Genetics (IGH), I conducted an MSc research project investigating meiotic recombination using genetically defined in-vivo mouse models.

I prepared and analyzed juvenile testis nuclear spreads and performed immunofluorescence microscopy to assess recombination-related proteins.

I designed primers and performed genotyping and qPCR, and contributed to ChIP-seq experiments through sample preparation and participation in the experimental workflow.

My training also includes microbiology and molecular biology laboratory activities at the Lebanese Agricultural Research Institute (LARI), alongside MSc studies in Genomics and Health at Lebanese University — Faculty of Sciences. I’m seeking an entry-level laboratory role in molecular biology, biotechnology, genomics, diagnostics, or R&D where I can apply and further develop my experimental skills.
