At Emeelan, I operate production workloads on a self-hosted k3s Kubernetes cluster on AWS EC2. I provision infrastructure with Terraform and use GitHub Actions and Argo CD for CI/CD and GitOps delivery, including deployment recovery when validation fails.
I led the migration of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and 10+ web applications from a legacy server to a new host, covering database restoration, NGINX reverse proxy, SSL configuration, DNS cutover, and certificate re-issuance with minimal downtime. I also configured scheduled database backups and restore procedures.
Alongside DevOps, I’ve built full-stack features at Emeelan, including payment and subscription integrations and an AI-powered skill assessment engine. I also built a Python RAG proof of concept for generating questions from documents using LangChain, LangGraph, Flask, and ChromaDB.
