At James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital, I assist with pharmacoeconomic initiatives that implement cost savings in line with formulary guidance. I exceeded the facility’s VISN cost-savings goals in FY22, FY23, and FY24, and use SQL to gather data and report progress.
I also adjudicate prior authorization requests and review biologic therapies with specialty clinics to support conversion to lower-cost alternatives. My pharmacy experience includes inpatient and outpatient care, medication safety, and teaching; I hold a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of South Florida, College of Pharmacy.
