Daniil Demchenko
@daniildemchenko
I test web applications and APIs through rigorous manual testing, SQL data-quality checks, and clear defect reporting.
What I'm looking for
I built and documented three public QA projects covering Steam store search UI testing, Steam Web API testing in Postman, and SQL data-quality testing for a modelled store database.
For Steam search, I created a test plan, 25-item checklist, 14 test cases, and four defect reports. I used DevTools to identify an HTTP 200 response containing an error page, exposing a failure that status-code-only monitoring could miss.
I wrote six Postman requests with 26 assertions based on invariants rather than changing data, and created 12 SQL integrity-defect detectors with explicit NULL handling. I manage defects in Jira and delivered report corrections through a GitHub branch and pull request.
I don't mark unclear behavior as passed: when expected behavior is undefined, I flag the missing oracle rather than invent one. My systems analysis background also informs my approach to functional and negative testing.
