Collins Wanjuki

I’m a recent BSc Biochemistry graduate with strong laboratory skills and growing expertise in data analysis using Excel and R. I’m detail oriented, analytical, and eager to apply my scientific and data capabilities to support organizational goals.

Through my attachment at the Veterinary Research Institute (VSRRI, KALRO), Muguga North, I conducted laboratory tests across virology, bacteriology, and helminthology departments. I also contributed to report writing and helped maintain strong lab safety protocols by “minted lab safety protocols.”

I also completed a data analysis project using Excel and R, where I cleaned, analyzed, visualized, and wrote up results. I used various statistical methods to identify trends and translate them into reports that stakeholders could understand.

I bring a collaborative mindset and a strong drive to learn fast—supported by training such as Data analytics with Excel and R, Python, and ICDL certification. I’m especially motivated by roles where I can combine scientific rigor with practical analytics to deliver actionable findings.
