I am a financial analyst and the main jobs are performance reporting, budget management, etc. I am also responsible for analyzing the monthly performance of your business unit and forming a report, analyzing the variance from the target, analyzing the reasons for the variance, etc.

My role was mainly assisting investment projects by analyzing risk framework and did the financial analysis to examine the companies whether match the loan qualification. I use a lot of excel and tableau in my day-to-day work. I use it to process dataset and also have to make sure all the relevant data are captured based on the attributes and also draw correlation between data variables.

When I was in Bank of China, I focused on credit risk analysis. Bank of China has mostly commercial and consumer clients. What I did was to collect all the clients' background, including their income background, and also the loan amount, and based on the current market, I will assess whether they will default on their monthly payment and cause the bank of China a credit exposure .
