At Brakes India’s R&D Division, I support the validation of caliper and drum brake subsystems through performance, durability, and mechanical-strength testing on inertia dynamometers and test rigs.
I translate customer requirements into 2D manufacturing drawings, 3D parametric CAD models, and assembly layouts using SolidWorks. I also manage CAD releases, ECNs, and EBOM updates in Teamcenter PLM, while designing test fixtures, adapter brackets, and sensor instrumentation setups.
I’ve handled 8+ new projects involving source changes, manufacturing process changes, and component localization. My work includes benchmark validation, friction-material screening, failure investigations, customer-complaint analysis, and technical reports that turn test data into actionable design improvements.
