Carlos Yepez

I am an Odoo-focused software developer and Computer Science student at Universidad Central de Venezuela, specializing in Python and the Odoo ecosystem. I blend academic foundations in algorithms and object-oriented design with practical experience on real-world ERP modules.

At SolucionesSofthard I led module refactoring and migration efforts across major Odoo versions, rewriting deprecated business logic and ensuring compatibility with updated ORMs. I optimized PostgreSQL queries and data structures during upgrade processes to improve performance and reliability.

I design frontend experiences using OWL to modernize form and kanban views, and implement backend business logic including models, computed fields, and constraints to enforce data integrity and automate workflows. I am passionate about Clean Code, scalable architecture, and efficient use of Linux and Docker.

I work with Git/GitHub and VS Code in CI/CD environments such as Odoo.sh, and I communicate effectively in Spanish and technical English. I seek opportunities to contribute to robust Odoo projects and continue growing as a backend/frontend hybrid within ERP development.
