Led the design and implementation of new Shopify service features, including cross-service foundational changes while maintaining SLA commitments. Implemented internal admin tooling for home cards, enabled bandit experiments for engagement, and delivered features integrating home cards with Shopify AI and merchant education on AI capabilities.

Led high-impact technical projects to improve scalability, operational efficiency, and enterprise client onboarding. Designed a hierarchical architecture to enable an expected 10x increase in processed volume by end of 2024, delivered a delayed customer-facing feature on time, and introduced automated end-to-end testing and configuration review for system reliability.

Managed the APub platform for author work and financial management, and contributed to KTLO mode maintenance and strategy. Boosted deployment success rate from 30% to 90% and achieved ~50% cost reduction by migrating from Windows Server to Linux infrastructure, while enabling AWS VPC/SSO and removing VPN/extra credentials.

Developed and maintained AWS Dev Tools to improve software quality by expanding testing methods across development pipelines. Improved testing efficiency by enabling concurrent test runs and designing robust metric collection systems while supporting customized test execution beyond initial Lambda/Java support.

Led the Shipment Receipt system transition from SQL to AWS DynamoDB to track inbound items for global warehouses. Scaled processing to handle hundreds of millions of transactions monthly, improving reliability/performance and enabling integration with Amazon systems for future growth.

Developed and managed modules for the company’s web and mobile mining safety product used by client mining companies. Delivered and maintained software components to help improve safety in terrain.
