At Z.ro Global, I developed customer-specific payment features and business rules for a multi-client gateway using PHP, Laravel, and PostgreSQL. I also maintained and enhanced Z.ro as the primary payment provider.
I implemented PIX API integrations with Genial, Asaas, Z.ro Global, and BTG, and integrated KYC APIs. I improved API endpoint efficiency by resolving N+1 query issues and reducing unnecessary PostgreSQL queries.
For payment processing, I worked with Redis queues and Laravel Horizon, using retries and idempotency with horizontally scaled workers. I also used Prometheus for metrics collection and customer-specific percentile reporting.
At Let’s, I helped build a PIX payment gateway for an initial client, implementing its first banking API integration and asynchronous processing with Redis and Laravel Horizon. I wrote PHPUnit unit tests, participated in peer code reviews, and occasionally contributed to a NestJS-based PaaS API.
