What I'm looking for

Looking for a remote data science or machine learning role where I can build and ship real systems, not just produce dashboards. Open to junior roles or paid internships to get started, with the goal of growing into a strong, well-paying position as I build a track record.

I'm a data scientist with a BSc (Honours) in Data Science and Informatics (Upper Second Class) from the University of Zimbabwe, focused on machine learning, model interpretability and turning data problems into deployed systems rather than one-off analyses.

My capstone project, PneumoInsight, is a pneumonia detection system built around a DenseNet121 CNN, reaching 89.7% accuracy with Guided Grad-CAM explainability so predictions stay interpretable to clinicians, not just a black box. I designed the model pipeline, evaluation and explainability layer end-to-end, then packaged it into a web application for demonstration.

My core strengths span the full data workflow: Python, SQL and machine learning on the analytical side, and Excel, Power BI and Tableau for data cleaning, analysis and interactive dashboards. I'm looking for remote data science or machine learning roles where I can keep building things that get used, not just presented.
