At Jendamark Automation, I perform the Finance Controller function across an eight-entity group, including a primary operating entity with annual revenue exceeding R500 million. I own the day-to-day finance function for seven associated entities, covering month-end close, management reporting, VAT compliance, cash-flow forecasting and audit preparation.
I established finance functions for multiple associated entities from inception, setting up accounting systems, chart of accounts, opening balances, banking, VAT and core processes before assuming end-to-end accounting responsibility. I also developed weekly senior-management reporting tools for cash movements and liquidity.
I helped implement online payment and debit-order collection systems for Omang (formerly Odin Education, a division of Jendamark), and developed tools to track expected versus actual collections and reconcile receipts to subscription volumes. I provide financial oversight on selected projects, monitoring expenditure against approved budgets and managing project cash-flow requirements.
Outside Jendamark, I'm a co-director of Eco World Polo (Pty) Ltd, where I handle financial management and commercial administration, and Treasurer of Nelson Mandela Bay Water Polo Association, overseeing budgets, reporting and funds for annual provincial team participation.
