What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a CSOC/SOC role where I can strengthen real-time threat monitoring, improve detection engineering with SIEM tools, and support incident response and forensic analysis—while collaborating closely with a team that values clear documentation and precision.

I’m a Computer Science and Engineering graduate with a strong passion for cybersecurity, computer programming, and building reliable systems. I’m highly communicative and collaborative, and I take pride in delivering high-quality results while meeting deadlines with precision and efficiency.

At Safaricom Telecommunications Ethiopia PLC, I work as a Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) Analyst safeguarding IT infrastructure and sensitive data from cyber threats. I implemented and led the full deployment of Splunk UBA, perform real-time monitoring and incident identification, and fine-tune alert mechanisms to reduce false positives while improving detection correlations.

I also support incident response end-to-end—containing and mitigating threats, performing forensic analysis, restoring affected systems, and producing detailed incident reports. Previously, at INSA as an Intrusion Analyst/SOC Analyst, I monitored network activity with IDS and SIEM, triaged incidents, conducted proactive threat hunting using IOCs, and documented findings for escalation when needed.
