I am an AI specialist and data scientist with four years of experience in transforming complex visual and time-series data into production AI systems, particularly for rail and smart-city applications. My work has led to the development of innovative solutions, including a rail track defect detection system that achieved 99% precision and 95% recall, and a pantograph carbon-strip wear detector presented at the Rail Conference 2024 in Prague. I hold four patents and was awarded the 2024 Geneva Inventions Silver Medal for my contributions to AI-driven inspection systems.

Currently, I am a PhD candidate at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, focusing on deep learning for reliability engineering. My research includes deploying a real-time person tracking and counting AI algorithm for the Hong Kong Police smart pole infrastructure and designing a custom Transformer architecture that significantly improved performance on the NASA C-MAPSS jet engine benchmark.
