Beatriz Santos

I'm building my path in writing and filmmaking through film criticism, short-form production, and cinema studies. At Krino IFILNova, I write articles and reviews on contemporary films and festivals.

I attended the 76th Berlin International Film Festival through IFILNOVA's Berlinale workshop, where I viewed films, joined critical discussions, organized interviews, attended masterclasses, and published Portuguese-language festival coverage for Cineblog Krino.

In the 72h Film Project at FCSH/MOTELX, I wrote, directed, and edited a short horror film in three days for Lisbon's international horror film festival. I've also supported IndieLisboa and Monstra as a festival volunteer, working in room assistance, production assistance, and training industry activities.

Alongside my Master's in Communication Sciences (Cinema and Television) at Nova University Lisbon, I teach English to adults, teenagers, and school-age learners. I'm looking for new creative experiences outside my comfort zone that help me grow personally and professionally.
