Baraa Al-Omari

I am a Chief Accountant with over 10 years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and managing finance teams. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Al Ahliyya Amman University and have deep hands-on experience with ERP systems, especially NetSuite.

At Safeer for Information Technology (Petra ride) I led the NetSuite ERP implementation, built a company-specific chart of accounts, and produced management financial reports that supported operational decision-making. I managed daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly financial analyses and supervised departmental budgeting and forecasting.

In prior roles at Bureau Veritas (BIVAC) and Al Baraa Bin Malek, I managed monthly closings, reconciliations, fixed assets and depreciation calculations, payroll with tax and social security deductions, and collections and billing processes. I consistently coordinated with auditors, sales, and marketing to ensure accurate financial controls and reporting.

I am results-driven, detail-oriented, and focused on improving finance operations through strong leadership, disciplined tax compliance, and efficient use of ERP and Microsoft Office tools to drive accuracy and timely financial insights.
