What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that allows me to combine my research skills with patient care, in a supportive environment that values professional growth and community engagement.

I am a dedicated and passionate individual with a Master's in Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor's in Biology, complemented by hands-on experience in dental settings. My journey has been marked by a commitment to understanding and addressing the needs of diverse communities, particularly through my recent internship at the Asian American Institute for Research and Engagement, where I conducted research and developed educational presentations to raise awareness about the challenges faced by Asian American populations.

In addition to my research experience, I have worked as a Dental Assistant and Receptionist, where I honed my patient care skills and learned the importance of effective communication in a healthcare environment. My roles have equipped me with the ability to manage patient flow efficiently, verify insurance coverage, and assist in dental procedures, all while maintaining a high standard of organization and cleanliness in the office.

Beyond my professional experiences, I have actively engaged in leadership roles, such as serving as the Secretary of the Pre-Dental Club and the Fundraising Chair for UNICEF at St. John's University. These positions have allowed me to develop my organizational and mentoring skills while contributing to meaningful causes. I am eager to continue my journey in the dental field, bringing my research background and patient-centered approach to my future endeavors.
