At GIZ, I support the CooPSA project to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the cooling sector by advancing energy-efficient, climate-friendly air-conditioning. I also contribute to regional Minimum Energy Performance Standards and energy labelling for R290 air-conditioners.
My work includes developing Article 6 carbon finance approaches and supporting validation of a cooling-sector mitigation activity. I coordinate responses to Corrective Action Requests and Forward Action Requests and contribute to refining the Mitigation Activity Design Document.
Before GIZ, I worked at Botswana’s Department of Energy as an Energy Engineer and Senior Energy Engineer, and at The Bulb World overseeing production of retrofit LED bulbs. With a background in Energy Engineering and Sustainable Development, I’m interested in connecting energy solutions, climate policy, and climate finance.
