I’m an environmental analyst focused on remote sensing, GIS, and ecological modeling, translating geospatial data into practical insights for biodiversity assessment, environmental monitoring, and ecological risk assessment.

In my research work, I built species distribution models using ANN, RF, GLM, GBM, SRE, MAXNET, and XGBOOST. I also applied machine learning-based ecological risk assessment for riparian zone risk evaluation and analyzed the relationship between PM2.5 and meteorological parameters using RStudio.

During my internship at Bumdeling Wildlife Sanctuary, I supported biodiversity monitoring and community forest evaluation—conducting avian surveys, plant identification, and freshwater invertebrate sampling. I also learned basic UAV (drone) flight and operational procedures for environmental monitoring.

My publications reflect this blend of data science and field relevance, including a manuscript accepted for Scientific Reports (Nature Portfolio) on ensemble modelling for habitat prediction of the White-bellied Heron in Bhutan under climate change. I’m motivated by evidence-based environmental decisions and collaboration with teams that value rigorous geospatial analysis.
