At Alvarez & Marsal, I prepare and review U.S. federal and state partnership tax returns for hedge funds and private equity, analyzing Schedule K-1s, Form 1065, PFIC calculations, partner allocations, and book-to-tax adjustments.
Previously at KPMG Global Services, I prepared partnership and RIC tax returns for investment funds, along with international tax forms and workpapers covering foreign partnerships, PFIC investments, foreign tax credits, wash sales, tax provisions, and IRC Section 163(j) calculations. I was promoted from Associate Tax Consultant I to Associate Tax Consultant II based on quality and productivity.
I use GoSystem, OneSource, Alteryx, and advanced Excel to automate tax workflows, resolve e-filing errors, and improve the accuracy and efficiency of return preparation and review.
