Anjali Mergu

At Thakur College of Engineering and Technology, I’m a third-year Cybersecurity undergraduate interested in Governance, Risk and Compliance. I’m building practical knowledge of security concepts, networking, and Linux.

I’m developing a Financial RAG Monitoring & Risk Intelligence Platform to query company filings and verify answers against source documents. It analyzes financial data for potential risks using financial ratios, anomaly detection, and risk indicators.

For the platform, I’m implementing query logs and role-based access controls to support accountability and data security. I’m also interested in cybersecurity research and technical writing.

As Publication Head on the ISTE-TCET Core Committee, I managed Multicon’s publication workflow, from paper submissions and documentation to final proceedings. My co-authored paper on deepfakes and biometric authentication received Second Runner-Up at the college-level Paper Presentation Contest, Multicon-W 2025.
