Angelo Medina

As a detail-oriented Engineer in Training (EIT) with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a minor in Computer Science, I have developed a strong foundation in structural analysis, reinforced concrete design, and hydraulic structures. My academic journey at Portland State University has equipped me with hands-on experience in various engineering disciplines, allowing me to approach projects with a comprehensive understanding of both technical and environmental considerations.

Throughout my education, I have honed my skills in using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and Revit, which have been instrumental in my project work. Notably, my capstone project focused on improving docks and gangway infrastructure for a proposed passenger ferry service, where I engaged in civil infrastructure design and stakeholder communication. My ability to integrate sustainable transport principles and community feedback into my designs reflects my commitment to creating impactful engineering solutions.

In addition to my technical skills, I have gained valuable experience in customer service and retail management through my roles at Wells Fargo and MADE IN OREGON. These positions have enhanced my communication skills and attention to detail, which I believe are essential in any engineering role. I am eager to leverage my background and skills in a challenging engineering position that allows for professional growth and contribution to innovative projects.
