What I'm looking for

I am looking for opportunities that foster innovation and collaboration, where I can apply my skills in data science and machine learning to solve real-world problems.

I am a dedicated and passionate data science student at the University of Waterloo, expected to graduate in June 2025. My academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in data science and artificial intelligence, complemented by hands-on experience in various projects and co-op roles. I thrive on tackling complex problems and developing innovative solutions.

During my co-op at Huawei Technologies Canada, I worked as a Support Engineer, where I designed APIs for eye trackers and developed algorithms for gesture-based direction estimation. My projects, including real-time localization for eye gaze estimation and deep learning approaches for sarcasm detection, showcase my ability to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical applications. I am committed to continuous learning and have achieved recognition as a top student in my cohort.

Designed and implemented real-time eye tracking APIs with cross-platform support, utilizing asynchronous programming and multithreading. Developed gesture direction estimation algorithms for smart glasses, creating a prototype that passed preliminary patent evaluation.
