What I'm looking for

I seek hands-on security engineering roles focusing on vulnerability research, exploit development, and network/kernel-level defenses in collaborative teams that value impact and technical growth.

I am a security-focused software engineer with hands-on experience in vulnerability research, exploit analysis, and high-performance packet processing. I developed a coverage-guided fuzzing framework using AFL++, triaged low-level crashes with GDB/pwndbg, and found reproducible memory-corruption vulnerabilities during a cybersecurity internship at IIT Ropar.

I build tooling and systems for defensive and offensive security: an XDP/eBPF fast-path firewall with AF_XDP userspace reassembly, adaptive behavioral scoring, and high-throughput traffic generators. I have practical experience with web-application flow abuse (documented Shopify product_publication bypass), pentesting toolchains, and cloud/container tooling, and hold CEH v13 and an IIT Madras cybersecurity certification.

IR

Cybersecurity Intern

IIT Ropar

Jan 2025 - Jun 2025 (5 months)

Performed VAPT, bug bounty hunting, SOC tasks and binary exploitation; developed an AFL++ coverage-guided fuzzing framework that uncovered out-of-bounds memory write vulnerabilities and validated DoS impacts via controlled crashes.

SR

Security Researcher

Shopify (research)

Discovered a product publication flow bypass by injecting product_create mutations into product_publication, demonstrating rate-limit and product_status exploitation risks that could enable mass product creation and potential database/index poisoning.
