What I'm looking for

I am seeking a role that allows me to further support mental health initiatives and advocate for students' well-being in a collaborative environment.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a strong commitment to supporting individuals through their mental health challenges. My approach is rooted in humanistic, person-centered, and multicultural principles, allowing me to connect deeply with clients from diverse backgrounds. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and individuals facing acute mental health crises, which has equipped me with the skills necessary to provide effective interventions and support.

Throughout my career, I have held various roles in educational settings, including my current position as Mental Health Coordinator for Adams County School District 14. Here, I lead multidisciplinary teams, provide guidance on mental health policies, and coordinate services for students in crisis. My previous experience as a School-Based Therapist and Outpatient Therapist has further honed my ability to assess and address mental health needs, ensuring that I can offer culturally competent care in both English and Spanish.
