Alex Iorga

At Sustainalytics - Morningstar, I contributed to an internal analytics platform used by 1,000+ employees. I delivered dashboards, reporting features, and admin tools across the frontend, backend, and database.

I also built data import, export, and validation features to improve data consistency and usability. I improved performance and maintainability through SQL query optimization, debugging, and refactoring.

In my Associate Software Engineer role, I owned feature delivery from story definition through implementation, testing, and deployment, while supporting users in an Agile/Scrum team. Before that, as a Software Engineering Intern at Sustainalytics, I delivered production features, bug fixes, and usability improvements.

In personal projects, I built an energy data platform combining electricity price and weather APIs with PostgreSQL, dbt, and an interactive dashboard. I’ve also developed customer-support and creator-outreach tools using Python, Streamlit, SQLite, and structured local LLM responses.
