Akanksha Rawat

I’m a final-year Bachelor of Design (Fashion & Lifestyle Design – Textile) student with hands-on training in weaving, dyeing, printing, surface design, and textile craft practices. I’m especially interested in using fabric development, color application, and weave construction skills to create strong, market-ready textile outcomes.

Through my internship experience, I received practical training in weaving, dyeing, and textile printing techniques at Weavers' Service Centre. At Mafatlal Industries, I supported production by conducting quality checks on incoming fabric batches, tracking stock levels, organizing supplies, and collaborating with teams across manufacturing departments.

I bring a detail-oriented, observant approach to designing and prototyping. From my “Final Collection” work to block printing samples and workshops, I focus on translating concepts into fabric samples using tools like Texcad and Adobe Photoshop, while exploring traditional motifs, pattern repeats, and color-fastness.
