Abel Furaha

I am a creative and award-winning photographer and filmmaker with four years of focused experience across lifestyle, wildlife, motorsport, and corporate media. I founded and lead CloudCover Films, a full-service photography and videography company based in Nairobi, Kenya.

I direct full-scale productions from concept through delivery, managing teams of assistants, editors, and drone pilots to produce high-end visual content for brands and documentaries. My work has been featured in international campaigns and publications and I have collaborated with globally recognized organizations.

I am proficient with professional camera systems, drone cinematography, audio and lighting setups, and advanced editing tools including Adobe Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and CapCut. I emphasize brand storytelling and creative direction to deliver compelling short-form and long-form visual content.

I have earned multiple industry recognitions, including National Geographic Video for Change awards and Sony and Canon distinctions, and I am fluent in English, Swahili, and French.
