Abdul Wahab Rasheed
@abdulwahabrasheed
I research legal frameworks that strengthen governance, justice, and rule of law.
What I'm looking for
I'm an independent legal and policy researcher in Lagos, examining international legal principles, rule of law mechanisms, and comparative jurisprudence for policy analysis.
I synthesize statutory frameworks, international conventions, and judicial precedents into reference guides, analytical manuscripts, and policy briefs. My work also evaluates civil liability, contract principles, and regulatory structures across legal traditions.
At Ajilete & Partners, NGO, I supported practitioners and policy advisors through research on statutory compliance, dispute resolution, and administrative law. I translated complex legal opinions and regulatory instruments into accessible policy memos supporting access to justice and rule of law initiatives.
I'm a Bar Part 1 candidate with LL.B. degrees in Islamic Law and Common Law, grounded in public international law, human rights, comparative legal systems, and institutional governance. I aim to contribute analytical research and policy drafting to stronger governance and SDG 16 outcomes.
