At Make It Simple — Octopaye, I designed, developed, and maintained RESTful APIs for core payroll workflows on a UK payroll SaaS platform. I redesigned data retrieval and processing to avoid loading unnecessarily large MongoDB datasets, improving API responsiveness, scalability, and application stability.
I also refactored legacy APIs and backend modules, investigated production issues, and delivered features across backend services and Angular applications. At BlueHolding, I developed backend functionality for Eventeck and TCP-Jeddah, and built Node.js functionality with real-time communication for PfizerFlip.
