Role Overview

- Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with the latest veterinary practices and technologies
- Assist in training and mentoring veterinary technicians and support staff
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
- State veterinary license in good standing
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating various animal health issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and team members
- Commitment to providing compassionate care and promoting animal welfare
Preferred:
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice setting
- Experience with specialized areas such as surgery, dentistry, or emergency care
- Proficiency in using veterinary software for medical record keeping and practice management
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with medical imaging technologies such as radiology and ultrasound
- Experience with laboratory diagnostics and interpreting laboratory results
- Knowledge of anesthesia protocols and pain management techniques
