Responsibilities

- Review and analyze appraisal reports for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters, repair facilities, and clients to facilitate clear communication and resolution of appraisal-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in vehicle damage appraisal to continually improve processes and team performance.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations, presenting them to management and stakeholders as necessary.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in vehicle damage appraisal or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle repair processes, damage assessment techniques, and relevant industry standards.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications in vehicle damage appraisal (e.g., ASE certification, VIN inspection certification).
Preferred:
- Experience with advanced appraisal software and tools.
- Familiarity with various vehicle makes and models, including both domestic and foreign brands.
- Prior experience in a managerial or supervisory role within an appraisal or claims environment.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in appraisal software and tools (e.g., Mitchell, CCC ONE).
- Knowledge of estimating systems and methodologies.
- Familiarity with body shop operations and repair processes.
