Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in two-way radio systems design, installation, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of analog and digital radio technologies, including trunked and conventional systems.
- Proficiency in RF theory and principles, along with experience in frequency coordination.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing two-way radio equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred:
- Certification in radio communications or related fields (e.g., PMP, RCDD).
- Experience with project management and leading technical teams.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards applicable to two-way radio communications.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Hands-on experience with various two-way radio brands and models (e.g., Motorola, Kenwood, Icom).
- Familiarity with software tools for radio system design and simulation.
- Proficient in using RF measurement and analysis equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
