Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Lead Train Reservation Clerk to oversee our train reservation operations. In this role, you will manage the team responsible for processing reservations, ensuring a seamless customer experience, and driving operational excellence in our ticketing systems.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the train reservation team, ensuring all reservations are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Implement and optimize workflows to enhance the customer experience and improve ticketing processes.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to ensure adherence to best practices in customer service and reservation management.
- Collaborate with other departments such as customer service, marketing, and operations to align on service delivery and promotional initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze reservation data to identify trends and make informed recommendations for process improvements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalated customer inquiries and issues related to train reservations.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in a reservation or ticketing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of reservation systems and ticketing software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a diverse team.
Preferred:
- Experience in the travel or transportation industry, particularly within rail services.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to drive business insights.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in using reservation management systems and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.

Location
This is a hybrid position, requiring successful candidates to work from the office at least 3 days a week.
