Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Roofing Foreman to lead our team in delivering high-quality roofing solutions. In this pivotal role, you will oversee roofing projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while mentoring your crew and maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise roofing crews on residential and commercial projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily operations, including delegating tasks to crew members to optimize productivity
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of work progress to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns or changes
- Maintain accurate records of materials used, labor hours, and project expenses while managing budgets effectively
- Train and mentor team members on best practices, safety standards, and technical skills to foster a collaborative work environment
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in roofing, with a demonstrated track record of successful project management
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, systems, and installation techniques
- Proven ability to lead teams effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred:
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
- Experience with various roofing systems, such as shingles, metal, and flat roofing
- Relevant certifications or licenses
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical specifications
- Familiarity with project management software and tools for tracking project progress
- Experience using safety equipment and tools relevant to roofing
